The Perfect Transition Dress By Massimo Dutti (Portugal)

“It’s not about the dress you wear, but the life you lead in the dress.”

Strolling along the streets in Portugal with a melted ice cream in my hands, I stopped in awe looking at an amazing jumpsuit in the Massimo Dutti shop.

I went in only to find out it was not available in my size, but guess what was? This beautiful knit dress with what I love the most, a pop of color.

My only hesitation was that I thought it would not be a forgiving dress... if I had a cheeseburger, you would know exactly where it was sitting in my stomach.

However, I was wrong! It is so lovely. It certainly does cling to your body, but it has a lot of stretch and so, so soft.

I absolutely love that it is sleeveless with a mock neck and a slight slit at the bottom. This allowed me to move with ease. You can dress it up or down as I have done. If you wanted to, you could wear a long cardigan to make even a bigger statement.

I went a bit wild by adding these Michael Kors leopard print stunning statement shoes (did I mention that I have a shoe obsession?), and the Gucci slides. My denim jacket is never far away when I am dressed either up or down. This one is from Citizen for Humanity.

Dresses are so easy. It is simple to plan your outfit with no fuss. Dresses also make you feel feminine and sit a little taller. This one achieves all that and more.
